Good work! Eliminating the electric starter and the starter wheel helps a lot, weitht wise.
How much did you take off at the diameter? Did you notice any change in the charging characterisics?

Other improovment:
I puted the alternator on the lane and I worked all the circonference and the angle. Now it work without all the start gear. Result: - 2.2 kg.

Can you supply measurements for the 70mm 3 piece oil rings? I already have a NOS Henry Abe kit with 1 piece oil rings to use but I'd like to replace the 1 piece rings I have with 3 piece.

so I know that a porting work it's necesary, but now I can't. So If I'll install on the stock head, 31mm can I find a decent low-medium torque? |
