Hello,
I measured all the bigends,
they all have a clearance of about 0.063 mm with green shells.
The crankshaft should be replaced at 0.08, so it's still okay.
The thicknes of the shells is acc ... |

Plastigauge is better then a micrometer indeed,
but I could not get it anywhere.
On their site it seems no problem to order low quantity's,
thanks for the link.

Hello,
I have a Japauto engine,
dismantled, and need new shells for the bigends.
Bigends itself are ok, but the shells have some scores.

If anybody has an humpback racing seat, I'm interested in taking it over.
I mean a single person racing seat as seen on the old japauto's (huge!). |

I have them both here, there is not much difference.
By the 900 ahe bigend is a bit stronger, and the bolts are thicker. Also the I profile is a bit higher, and they are about 0.8mm longer.
They fit ... |

A good way to do this is to go to the wiseco site,
then the 'power sports' category, find some good brand (kawasaki or so),
and find which 68mm pistons have 15mm pin's.
You can recognize them at t ... |

I just received my 72 mm bore gsxr750 pistons,
with a very nice 15mm wrist pin diameter.
They'r lighter then the old Japauto 70mm pistons: 176 against 194 grammes , nice for the stress on the rods. ... |

Not a regrinded or F2 cam, I want a real increase. |

Don't forget to bore out the castings when fitting new liners. Maximum is 73mm bore though, so 68 is mild from my point of view. |
