Greetings all - I have bought a very tatty CB750 (1974K4 with 810 cc pistons) in a Foale frame, and it is going to be fully rebuilt - there is no bodywork on it though, and I am planning (this week at least!) to do something on the lines of a CR750 tank and seat - BUT - anyone have any ideas, suggestions, experience or even wild guess on how to deal woth the oil tank cap which is obviously part of the Foale frame. Or does anyone even have a decent shaped tank on a Foale frame which in the fullness of time I could copy? Never hurts to ask...!
Also any ideas on if the cam is standard or not - it has R10 stamped into it on the number 3 piston side of the sprocket. Does this mean anything at all?
Cheers,
RB. |

Rupert,
I just saw your message. I have some pix showing some of the tanks that were used. I suggest that you contact me by email info@tonyfoale.com .
Also recently I started a Yahoo group dedicated to these chassis which might be of interest.
regards
