Hi, does anyone happen to know the size of the swinging arm bushes? Mine have some slight play (although pumping grease in seems to have eliminated it for the time being) & it would be good to have some new ones to swop straight in.
Last time I replaced them several years ago I had to get them made up, hopefully I can find some easier (and cheaper) this time.
Thanks |

Hi, I've not got anywhere planned as yet. I have in the meantime stripped & checked mine visually & they do seem aok, but slight wear is hard to see. If they last the summer I will probably try some Oillite bushes
http://www.oilitebearings.com/
As for size, the sleeves that they run on are 25.2mm o/d, and I have an old pair of bushes that came out years ago & their o/d is 30.25mm. However, those seem to be 25mm bore (as you may have guessed, I don't own an internal micrometer). I did have new sleeves made up years ago, perhaps they changed size then. Flanges are 35.25mm o/d, 2.25mm deep. I'm suspecting the bushes were originally imperial sized anyway.
