i put in the APE studs. then when i torqued the head the threads pulled out of one of the stock nuts. should i get some aftermarket ones? high heat treated. ive looked everywhere on-line, and cant find them. where can i get them? whats your experience and input?

8mm Flange Nuts are still available from Honda Parts Suppliers.
Part Number 9405 008 000.
Hope this helps.

Ooops - I never had a problem with the nuts, even when I torqued them at +35 lbs (which, as I learned, is too much for the stock studs Embarassed but that was may years ago when money was even tighter and HD studs were not available).

Cheers,
Axl
