Hi.
I am Trying to find Plans over the SOHC Cylinder block! The thing is that I am building a real state of the art 970 cc honda with the works on it. But I do not want to modifye the old original cyl block. My plan is to CNC mill out a new cyl block from a solid stock of aluminum. I am a skilled Machinist with my own company so I cant see that it will be any big problems making it. I am also intressted of cutting the gears in the gearbox, But I would really like some plans or directions with measurements. It is kind of boring to make alot of work an just have to tear down engine again since no workie!!! So I really would like some help on that to.
On the Cyl block project, If there is intresst, i will make as many as people wants. The cost will be mostly material, And why bleed all SOHC buddys dry?
Thanks for any help!! Muscle Machine |

Very interesting project. Reminds me of the RC big blocks that you still sometimes see. I can envision some custom identification too using the CNC. I have a NOS set of 73.75mm pistons that may become available in the near future. I'll be watching for any progress you make on this. I can not provide any gear info however.
I also have a Cobray M10 kit gun that you show on your site. |

No pictures yet.. I will post when it all start to come togheter
As soon as i can make one I can start production. I will check the prices of aluminum and get back to you all!
either I can buy Hi strength alu in a block. Or use old car cylinder heads and cast a chunk myself, maybe I will do that to start with, it all depends on how much the alu is to buy. I can laways make a budget version first if buying alu is expencive.
Soon summer.. and wrooom time |
