<  Performance issues  ~  CB750 Steering stem removal

Hi all, I am new here and hope someone can help me. I want to know if it is possible to press a steering stem out of a 74 CB750? From below it looks like it is one solid part. Let me know

It's one piece. The steering stem is pressed in the triple tree and then welded. It may work if you grind off the welding and press it out then, but I have never tried that.
