Hi there - can anyone help identify the pistons in my CB750? The are approx 63.95mm at the base of the skirt, with HONDA cast on the outside but inside the skirt it has HA-64, CB810 and TOHO cast in. Since the Honda factory never made a CB810 I can only presume they are an aftermartket set up, but from where, from when, and how do I get oversize pistons or new rings?
All suggestions welcome! |

Turns out the pistons seem to have been made under the auspices of a guy called Henry Abe some 30 or so years ago. They are an 810 conversion but new rings are impossible to find - the best solution is to machine the grooves to take Honda piston rings from the CB350. This sounds like a cue to go to an 836 conversion as soon as I can afford it! |
