I just picked up a 1974 SOHC 750 with a big bore kit on ebay. The pistons measure 65mm. I was told by the seller they are wiseco. Can anyone help me positively ID them ? (before I order new rings) As I mentioned they are 65mm, domed, with valve reliefs. They have the following numbers printed on the domes. If looking down the cylinder from the front (exhaust side) 4816PS is nearly centered on the dome with XC and a arrow pointing down below that. Turn left 90 degrees and F44J8 is printed. Also any ideas on a base gasket, head gasket, and gasket sealer? I already have the wiseco head gasket (came with the bike). Thanks everyone, especially axl for this site! |

I would say they are Wisecos. They are forged, and they are definitely no Arias. |
